Activity Plans May Change Due to Weather!!
Meeting for March 4th will take place, unless Germantown or Red Hook Schools close due to snow. If schools are just "delayed", we will have the meeting. However, activity may be changed from Horse Racing to Deal or No Deal!! Let's hope for the best. Remember - if schools do close, the meeting will be held on Thursday, March 5th.

ReplyDeleteLuckily with a school delay of 2 hours and cold bitter weather our meeting went as planned last Wednesday with approx. 40 members in attendance. The horse racing has been cancelled for another time when our snow birds have returned from their fun in the sun.
St. Patrick's day was acknowledged with the wearing of the green. Our new refreshment chairperson Bunny did a great job of decorating the tables and getting members to help clean up and wipe tables after the desserts were served. The 50/50 winners were; Connie M & Marion W.. & one new person joined. A welcome shout out to Anna-Marie O.,
A moment of silence was giving for the passing of Lilo T. & Walter G. Our condolences go out to their families. There are many good memories of fun times with them. They will be missed. Sick members this month are Joe K.., Amos L.., Charles H.., They would appreciate cards from members. If you need addresses contact an officer or chairperson.
Our trip on Monday to Westchester Dinner Theatre for Rhythm of The Dance ( Irish step dancers ) will leave Clermont at 8:45 & Red Hook at 9 am
Next trip is April 15 for Mt. Airy Casino in the Poconos. Seat still available, call me (JoAnn) for your reservation and bonus.
April meeting will be the Easter, ham dinner everyone asked to bring a vegetable or dessert to share. Guest will be asked for a donation of $5 for the meal. After the desserts are served we will play a game of "Deal or no Deal". Hope everyone can make the next meeting.
