Just about a week until our April 1st meeting. It's been a tough winter, but Spring is now here and we will be celebrating Easter with our Ham Luncheon. All members are asked to bring a covered dish to share (veggies, salads, potatoes, and desserts). I'll be bringing an antipasto!
After dessert we will be playing Deal or No Deal!! Someone will be picked to be a lucky contestant and hopefully pick the winning box. Will they keep the box or take the deal?? Come to the meeting and find out!!
All seniors are welcome. Non-members will pay $5 to join us this month for this special meal. Hope to see you all there.
There is a trip coming up on Wed., April 15 to Mt. Airy Casino, seats are still available. Also, next month on Wed., May 27 we will go on the Dutch Apple Cruise and Albany city tour with a dinner stop at the Golden Corral. Tues., June 16 is our trip to Saratoga Casino. On April 1 st., at Wednesday's meeting is the day to get your reservations made, bring your checkbook and guarantee your seat on the bus..

ReplyDeleteWe saw Neil today and he is planning to get enough ham for 60 people. If we have guest that will be fine.
DeleteIrene reported that Charlie is coming along good. He has a doctor appointment in Albany and they will not be at the meeting on Wednesday. Dawn M. had knee surgery and is starting to get around. Ken D. who likes his casino trips had open heart surgery in Dec is recovering very well and hopes to make the Mt. Airy trip. Well wishes go out to them for a full recovery.

DeleteMay 6 th. is the first Wednesday of the month, our meeting day and Penny Social, I hope that everyone is gathering their items for this fun event. Also, bring your lunch and the desserts will be provided by members whose last name starts with S - Z. The trip planned for May is the Cruise on the Hudson River and Albany City Tour with a step on guide to point out and explain all the interesting sites in the city. We will make a stop at the Golden Corral for dinner. If you are interested I would encourage you to make a reservation since the bus is filling up. Hope you will post your comments and I will see you all next week.
