Planning meeting for 2015
Met today at Jim and JoAnn's to discuss plans for 2015. JoAnn served lunch and then we got down to the business of planning. Different themes and events were planned for each month. February 4th will celebrate Valentine's Day. There will be games, door prizes, and a raffle for a gift certificate to Charlie O's. Wear RED. Desserts supplied by members with last names G - L. Dues will continue to be collected.
The Rhythm of the Dance
Our first trip for 2015 will be on March 9th, a Monday. It will be to the Westchester Dinner Theater in Elmsford for a wonderful lunch and show. "The Rhythm of the Dance" with the Irish step dancers performing will be a fabulous day trip. Every one who goes will surely enjoy themselves. If you have never seen this show on stage live, you are in for a real treat. There will be bus pickups in Clermont and Red Hook. Any one interested can reply here or come to the February 4th meeting at the Clermont Firehouse. Payment is due at that meeting.

Posts for Jan. 6th & 7th.
Hope to see all the members at our meeting tomorrow (Jan. 7, 2015) at the Clermont Firehouse. Today (January 7th) we had our first meeting for 2015!! Happy New Year all.
Prayer was led by Joan (substituting for Gert) - and we pledged allegiance to the flag of the United States.
Year-end reports were given by me, the treasurer, and JoAnn for travel in 2014. JoAnn also prepared flyers for the planned day trips for 2015.
Members were also told about our NEW BLOG/web site - so I hope they pass the word and let others know about it.
So far, for 2015, we have 61 members.
Refreshments were served - and we watched a slide show about Hawaii presented by a member, Wanda. It was especially nice to see the beaches of Hawaii on this FRIGID day. We usually have about 60 members each month - but with some of the snow-birds being away for the winter and the cold weather, we had about 40 today.
Next month's meeting is scheduled for February 4th. Refreshments will be provided by members with last names from G - L. Our club president, Jim, is in the process of getting an acupuncturist to come to speak to us in February.
